Our pets are members of our family – they make us smile every day, and they are the epitome of unconditional love. When the holidays roll around and it’s time to find a top notch place to send your precious pet during peak travel times, it can be overwhelming knowing where to turn.
Well, look no further!
We did our homework and compiled an excellent list of 9 one-day or extended day boarding options for you.
Or – if you’re looking to stretch your legs for a few with man’s best friend after a scrumptious holiday meal – we’ve visited local Chester County PA dog parks and can offer first hand experience on what to expect.

Lloyd park is conveniently located on Lloyd Avenue in Downingtown, PA. It’s a park for the entire family – a “partially” fenced in dog area with agility options, a playground close by for the kids, a small paved bike loop, and a volleyball court. The dog park itself has a wonderful stream inside that many of the dogs enjoy on a hot summer day – or on one of these Indian Summer days in November! Owner tip: There is a portion of the dog park that is not fenced as it is all woods, and there is the stream too that is not fenced. From one dog owner to another, make sure you are aware of this before you enter if your dog is known to wander. Very spacious and rarely over crowded, it’s a wonderful time for all and a sure way for fido to work off these holiday meals!
