Exton is a major shopping district in Chester County.

The main attraction is Main Street Exton, which offers an abundance of restaurants, boutiques, a wine & spirit shop, and the tried-and-true stores such as Barnes and Noble, Bed, Bath and Beyond, and Michaels. New to Main Street Exton is the popular Movie Tavern. Watch a movie and dine on more than just popcorn - servers come right up to your seat and take your lunch or dinner order. Bringing the term “dinner and a movie” to fruition all in one place. In addition, there is more shopping within 2 minutes at the Exton Square Mall, which also offers more traditional department stores, and the Whiteland Town Center, an updated strip mall with a music shop, pet supply store, Kohl’s and a handful of casual dining options.

In addition to the shopping, Exton is also home to several corporate parks including The Oaklands, Exton Commons, Valley Creek Corporate Center, and Eagleview Corporate Park. Eagleview offers the small town charm with modern day conveniences. Luxury condominiums, upscale townhouse rentals, single family properties, restaurants, events and ‘town center’ shops - Eagleview has it all. Meticulously maintained, Eagleview is a highly sought after “live, work, play” community.

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) has a satellite office location in Exton offering some of the most advanced pediatric care in the nation (according to U.S. News and World Report).

Love to be outdoors? Exton is the starting point for the ever popular Chester Valley Trail. An extensive, flat, paved trail for runners, bikers and everyone in between. It stretches 14 miles from Exton to King of Prussia.

Exton residents are served by two top notch public school districts - Downingtown Area School District and West Chester Area School District. Newsweek named Downingtown High schools (East and West) as two of the best in America. West Chester Area School District has received the top rating of “Gold Medal District” by Expansion Management Magazine in its annual Education Quotient issue. This year's rating places West Chester school district among the top 17 percent of all public secondary school districts in the United States. Exton also houses Collegium Charter School - which is open to all Chester County residents.

Exton’s claim to historic fame is the Duling-Kurtz House and Country Inn – a great place for a four-star dinner or a weekend getaway. Overall, Exton is a major hub in Chester county that still possesses a rural feel.
